Turaki submits forms for PDP national chairmanship race

Former Minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki (SAN), on Monday formally submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for the position of National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The submission took place at the PDP National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) Secretariat, located at Legacy House, Shehu Shagari Way, Maitama, Abuja.

Turaki’s submission comes ahead of the party’s Elective National Convention, scheduled to hold on November 15 and 16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

With this move, Turaki has officially joined the race to lead the PDP as it prepares for internal restructuring and strategic positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections.
