‘We’re not recruiting’: NNPCL warns Nigerians against fake recruitment adverts

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has warned Nigerians against fraudulent recruitment advertisements circulating online.

The NNPCL stressed that it is not conducting any hiring process at the moment.

The national oil company made this known in a statement on Friday, March 21, 2025.

The NNPCL stated that all legitimate job openings would only be announced through its official channels.

The company said: “The general public is hereby informed that NNPC Limited is not recruiting. Official recruitment announcements will only be made through our website and verified social media platforms.

“NNPC Limited’s recruitment process is transparent, merit-based, and requires no external assistance.”
