Wike celebrates Remi Tinubu at 66, praises support for vulnerable Nigerians

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, describing her as a source of support to President Bola Tinubu and vulnerable Nigerians.

Wike, in a goodwill message issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, praised the First Lady for her contributions to the administration and her humanitarian initiatives.

The minister particularly commended Oluremi Tinubu’s role in the transformation of the Abuja City Gate, saying the project demonstrated her commitment to the success of the administration.

He also highlighted the activities of the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative, saying the programme had provided support to vulnerable Nigerians since the administration assumed office.

Wike described Oluremi Tinubu’s lifestyle as an inspiration to women across the country and prayed for her continued good health.

“At 66, the simple way of life of the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has remained an inspiration to women in the country, and it is my prayer that God will continue to uphold her,” Wike said.

He described the birthday as a significant milestone and said it reflected what he called God’s love for the First Lady.

“I celebrate and rejoice with our ever caring and development-oriented First Lady on the attainment of this significant age in her life and wish her many more years of service to our country, Nigeria,” he added.
