The lifeless body of a woman has been found in a room in a guest house at Igbogbo in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, who confirmed the incident on Monday, said the body of the woman was seen by the manager of the guest house on Saturday.

Hundeyin said the manager reported the case to the police in Ikorodu, noting that his (manager) report indicated that the woman, who was about 46 years old, arrived at the guest house on a motorcycle rode by her companion, identified simply as Alfa Sule, on Friday.

The police spokesman said the manager reported that Alfa Sule, of an unknown address, lodged at the guest house with the woman later identified as Muinat.

He disclosed that while the manager was going round the rooms at about 6 a.m. on Saturday, he discovered the lifeless body of the woman but Sule had absconded.
