The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is currently meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Ogun State.
Tinubu, who arrived at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital at about 1:10 p.m., went straight into a closed-door meeting with the former President.
Although the details of the meeting could not be immediately ascertained, The Star gathered that it may not be unconnected with Tinubu’s presidential ambition.
The APC presidential standard-bearer was accompanied by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; former APC interim chairman, Chief Bisi Akande; and former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu.
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and two of his predecessors, Olusegun Osoba and Otunba Gbenga Daniel, were also in attendance.
