The Presidency has debunked the widely-circulated reports that President Muhammadu Buhari had travelled to London, United Kingdom for medical check-up.
It dismissed the reports via a tweet by the Personal Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on his verified Twitter handle on Saturday.
Reports had emanated that Buhari embarked on a 20-day medical trip to London.
Ahmad, however, described the news as fake, noting that President Buhari is in Abuja and has no intention to leave country for London.
He stated: “The news going round that President Muhammadu Buhari has embarked on a 20-day vacation trip to London is FAKE. The President is in Abuja and he is not planning to embark on any trip to London.

The Star had reported that President Buhari, on March 18, 2022, returned from London after a routine medical check-up.
