Aiyedatiwa donates utility vehicles to Ondo permanent secretaries

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on Tuesday presented 14 new utility vehicles to Permanent Secretaries in the state to enhance their productivity and efficiency.

Speaking during the brief ceremony at the Government House, Akure, Aiyedatiwa described the gesture as symbolic, noting that it would also be extended to four retired Permanent Secretaries who served under his administration.

“This is to support you as leaders of the public service so you can move around, do your jobs with ease, and deliver results promptly.

“We don’t want you to deliver short or deliver late,” the governor said.

Head of Service, Bayo Philip, thanked the governor for his consistent support to the civil service, describing him as a leader committed to keeping the system running smoothly.

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Mrs. Foluke Tunde-Daramola, lauded the gesture as part of the governor’s “Our EASE” agenda, adding that it reflected his role as a caring leader who prioritises efficiency in governance.

She assured that the Permanent Secretaries would remain loyal and committed to delivering on their mandates in their respective ministries, departments, and agencies.
