Asake drops fourth studio album “M$NEY”

Afrobeats star Asake has released his highly anticipated fourth studio album titled “M$NEY”, marking another milestone in his fast-rising career.

The 13-track project was released on Friday across major streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, Audiomack, and YouTube, making it instantly accessible to fans worldwide.

The singer, known for his hit track “Amapiano,” had earlier teased the album on Instagram via his handle @mrmoney, sharing a creative video that featured a stone carver sculpting what appeared to be the album’s cover art.

M$NEY is particularly significant as it is Asake’s first full-length project under his independent label, Giran Republic, following his exit from YBNL Nation in 2025.

The album features previously released singles such as “Why Love,” “Badman Gangster” featuring Tiakola, and his latest track “Worship” alongside DJ Snake.

Before M$NEY, Asake released three successful studio albums—Mr. Money With The Vibe (2022), Work of Art (2023), and Lungu Boy (2024).

His breakout hit “Amapiano” also earned a nomination in the Best African Music Performance category at the Grammy Awards 2024.
