Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are reportedly considering the appointment of Jose Mourinho as the new manager of the club.

This followed the recent poor performance of Bayern in the Bundesliga.

Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen outplayed Bayern Munich for a 3-0 victory on Saturday that sent them five points clear at the top of the league and put them firmly in charge of the title race.

Bayern, chasing a 12th straight league crown, were nowhere to be seen and managed only a single shot on target over the 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane would likely welcome the arrival of Mourinho at Bayern, having formed a strong bond with the Portuguese boss during his time at Tottenham. Mourinho is reportedly learning German ahead of potentially taking the Bayern Munich job, Sky Sports reports.
