Ecobank woos African investors for Dangote refinery share offer

Ecobank says retail and institutional investors across Africa can subscribe to the Dangote Petroleum Refinery share offer through its digital and branch banking channels.

Ecobank said customers and non-customers in Nigeria could subscribe through its mobile app, internet banking, website, and any of its branches nationwide.

It said the offer, which opened on September 14, would close on October 13, 2026.

The bank, in a statement on Tuesday, said the shares were priced at N525 each, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares.

Ecobank said its pan-African network, spanning 33 African countries, alongside its international offices, was providing investors with access to the offer.

The Ecobank Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Austen Osokpor, said the bank remained committed to connecting customers and the wider public with opportunities that supported wealth creation and broader participation in the capital market.

Osokpor noted that the bank’s digital platforms and branch network had been positioned to provide a convenient and accessible subscription experience for interested investors.

Ecobank advised prospective investors to carefully read the prospectus and seek professional advice where necessary before making investment decisions.

It said interested members of the public could visit any of its branches nationwide or subscribe through its digital channels.
