The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters, including a woman, in Abuja.
The suspected internet fraudsters were arrested at the Kubwa axis of Abuja following actionable intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
EFCC arraigns ex-Kwara commissioner for N1.22bn fraud
The EFCC, in a statement on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, listed items recovered from the suspects to include 12 phones and laptops.
“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” the anti-graft agency noted.
