President Bola Tinubu has nominated non-career ambassadors for three countries ― the United States, the United Kingdom, and France.
Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, in a statement on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, said the postings will be finalised following Senate screening.
The three nominees are Ayodele Oke, Colonel Lateef Kayode Are (rtd), and Aminu Mohammed Dalhatu.
Dalhatu previously served as Nigeria’s ambassador to South Korea during former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, having been first appointed in 2016.
