Fire has gutted a building on the premises of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in the Ikeja area of the state.
It was gathered that the fire incident occurred at about 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31.
The inferno was confirmed by the Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye.
Adeseye said officials of the agency were mobilised to the scene, adding that the fire had been put out.
“It is a minor fire and it has been put out. Expect an official statement soon,” she noted.
