GehGeh advises Yul Edochie on stepfather responsibility

Financial commentator and content creator, GehGeh, has weighed in on the ongoing public discussion involving actor Yul Edochie, Judy Austin, and claims made by Judy’s former husband during a recent podcast interview.

GehGeh said he reviewed Judy Austin’s account of events and was particularly concerned by suggestions that Yul Edochie may now be responsible for children she had from a previous marriage.

“Yul Edochie, they say ‘had I know’ is the last statement of a fool. Urhobo people have a proverb that says the stick you have seen should not enter your eye,” he said.

He added that if the claims were accurate, they could place unnecessary pressure on the actor.

“I listened to Judy Austin’s side of the story, and she said the children she brought from her previous marriage are now your responsibility. If that thing is true, bro, you go cry o,” he stated.

GehGeh cautioned men against fully taking on financial responsibility for children whose biological fathers are still alive and present, warning that such arrangements can create long-term complications.

“Don’t carry another man’s child responsibility when he is still alive. Don’t try it. The same thing the previous man passed through, you can still pass through it,” he said.

He further argued that emotional decisions in relationships can sometimes lead men into difficult situations, adding that status or wealth does not guarantee immunity from such experiences.

“They left Bill Gates, they left powerful and influential men. You’re not more special than the previous man. Be careful,” he added.

His comments have since generated mixed reactions on social media, with users divided over his perspective on blended family responsibilities and modern relationships.
