Gov Uba Sani visits survivors of Plateau attack, vows justice for victims

Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, on Monday visited survivors of the recent deadly attack in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, who are currently receiving treatment at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna.

The victims, all indigenes of Kaduna State, were reportedly ambushed while traveling to attend a wedding in Quan Pan LGA, Plateau State.

The brutal attack left several people dead and many others injured.

During the hospital visit, Governor Sani listened to firsthand accounts from the victims, describing their experience as horrifying.

He expressed relief that the survivors are recovering from their physical injuries and pledged that the Kaduna State Government would provide full medical and psychosocial support.

“The Kaduna State Government has taken full responsibility for the treatment of the victims and will ensure they receive the best possible care, including counseling to help them heal psychologically,” the governor stated.

Senator Sani also assured the victims and the public that justice would be served.

He confirmed that some suspects have already been arrested, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend others involved in the attack.

“I remain personally committed to following this case closely. We will not relent until every perpetrator is brought to book,” he said.

Governor Sani urged security agencies to intensify their operations and reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to support law enforcement in protecting the lives and property of all citizens.
