Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has announced a sweeping lifestyle change, cutting out alcohol, sugar, bread, noodles, and sexual activity as part of what he described as a personal transformation.
The rapper, born Panshak Zamani, shared the details in an Instagram post on Thursday, listing a strict daily regimen that includes a morning and evening walk, daily workouts, intermittent fasting, and a diet of 50 per cent protein, 30 per cent vegetables, and 20 per cent carbohydrates.
“No sugar. No alcohol, wine or energy drinks. No soda. No noodles/pasta. No bread. Quit smoking,” he wrote, adding celibacy to the list alongside a 10pm bedtime and at least six hours of sleep nightly.
He also said he drinks homemade smoothies, coconut water, ginger tea, green tea, or black coffee daily, and reads for an hour each day.
Ice Prince, known for his 2011 hit *Oleku*, said he had never used drugs or supplements. “I have never tried or had interest in trying any drug or substance or supplements ever in my whole life,” he wrote.
The post, which he tagged with the phrase “Testimony Of Grace,” coincided with an announcement that a new album would drop on Friday.
The lifestyle shift follows a similar disclosure in March, when the rapper spoke about how quitting smoking had transformed his wellbeing. Last year, he had also opened up about his struggles with cannabis use, saying one of his greatest regrets was learning how to roll it.
