Katsina governor survives road accident

The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was involved in a minor road accident on Saturday evening along the Daura-Katsina Road while on official duty.

A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, confirmed that the incident occurred while the governor was carrying out state-related activities. Despite the scare, the governor emerged unscathed and is reportedly in a stable and healthy condition.

“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.

Governor Radda, known for his active engagement in state matters, was said to be in high spirits following the incident.

He expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for divine protection and thanked citizens of Katsina State and other concerned Nigerians for their prayers and goodwill.

The brief incident did not significantly disrupt the governor’s schedule, as he is expected to resume official engagements shortly.

Authorities did not disclose the specific cause of the accident, but sources indicate that it was a minor mishap with no casualties reported.
