The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was involved in a minor road accident on Saturday evening along the Daura-Katsina Road while on official duty.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, confirmed that the incident occurred while the governor was carrying out state-related activities. Despite the scare, the governor emerged unscathed and is reportedly in a stable and healthy condition.
“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.
