Married evangelist dies in hotel after sex romp with Bishop

The operatives of the Abia State Police Command have arrested an amorous and self-proclaimed Bishop and General Overseer of a new-generation Church/Prayer Ministry (names withheld) preaching on the altar hours after he abandoned a married evangelist in an Aba hotel where they had gone for a sex romp.

The bishop and his married lover, a mother of five, were said to have lodged in a popular guest house located around Ogbor Hill, Aba in Abia State.

It was gathered that the lovers checked into the hotel on Saturday night before the bishop sneaked out pretending that he was going to buy food at about 11 p.m.

It was learnt that the lifeless body of the evangelist was recovered from the hotel on Sunday morning by the officials of the guest house, who suspected foul play.

A report on the incident read: “The manager of the hotel suspected foul play and reported to the Eastern Ngwa Police Station in Obingwa Local Government Area around at about 1 a.m. on Sunday morning.

“The woman was found lying naked with foam coming out of her mouth and nose when police arrived the scene.

“When her mobile phone was accessed, it was discovered that the duo have been in a romantic relationship for quite sometime.”

According to the report, the husband of the evangelist, who hailed from Umuatakawom in Obingwa, was away in Bayelsa State on a business trip when the incident occurred.
