NDLEA nabs real estate CEO for drug dealing in Lagos

The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have apprehended the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Trans Fortress Global Resources, a notable real estate development firm, Kolapo Raji, over alleged drug dealing.

The NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this via a statement issued on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Babafemi noted that Raji has been on the anti-drug agency watch list since 2025 following credible intelligence.

He added that the 57-year-old CEO was arrested at his Safe Court Apartment residence in Ikate, Lekki in Lagos State, on February 12, 2026, following sustained surveillance after his return from the United Kingdom.

Babafemi said a search of Raji’s residence led to the recovery of four large bags containing parcels of Canadian Loud, a strong strain of cannabis, with a total weight of 89.20kg.
