NYSC adjusts orientation dates for Enugu, Osun corps members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has revised the orientation schedule for prospective corps members posted to Enugu and Osun states for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II exercise.

In a statement issued by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said the orientation programme for the two states will now begin on April 28 and end on May 18, 2026.

According to NYSC, the adjustment is due to ongoing renovation works at the orientation camps by the respective state governments.

The scheme clarified that the timetable for other states and the Federal Capital Territory remains unchanged, with orientation scheduled to run from April 22 to May 12, 2026.

Prospective corps members affected by the change have been advised to take note of the new dates and comply accordingly, while also being wished safe travels to their places of deployment.

Meanwhile, the scheme has released call-up letters for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II participants. Candidates confirmed that deployment details were made available on the NYSC portal early Monday, although many users experienced access issues due to heavy traffic.
