The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the revocation of no fewer than 165 plots of land in Abuja for non-development.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) made this known in a notice issued by its Permanent Secretary, Olusade Adesola, on Thursday night.

The revoked plots belong to individuals and corporate organisations, including the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi; and foremost construction company, Julius Berger.

Adesola noted that the plots were revoked over the r failure of their allottees to develop them.

He said the revocation of the affected plots was approved by Wike following the violation of the terms of Rights of Occupancy.
