Popular Nigerian content creator and skit maker, Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi, popularly known as Officer Woos, has threatened legal action over viral reports alleging that he was arrested by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for drug trafficking.
Officer Woos dismissed the reports as false and defamatory, insisting that he has never been arrested, investigated or charged over any drug-related offence.
In a statement issued by his legal representatives, Versed Attorneys, the content creator described the allegations as “entirely false, fabricated and without any basis whatsoever.”
The controversy stemmed from online claims that NAFDAC arrested Officer Woos in 2025 for allegedly importing bread and brownies laced with cocaine from Mexico.
However, his legal team denied the allegations and stated that he had never been involved in any drug-related investigation or criminal proceedings.
The lawyers further refuted claims that the skit maker had posted about the death of an associate on his social media platforms, describing the publications as part of a deliberate and malicious attempt to mislead the public and tarnish his reputation.
According to the statement, those responsible for publishing and circulating the claims have been given 48 hours to issue an unconditional retraction and public apology.
The legal team also warned that failure to comply would result in civil proceedings for damages and formal petitions to law enforcement and regulatory agencies against individuals or platforms that continue to publish or amplify the allegations.
Officer Woos maintained that the reports are baseless and reaffirmed his intention to pursue all legal remedies available to protect his reputation.
