A newly married pregnant woman has sparked reactions on social media after revealing that her husband has stopped kissing her since they got married four months ago.
The woman, identified as Chiamaka Maryjane, shared her experience in a post on Facebook, expressing concerns over changes in her husband’s behaviour and seeking advice from social media users.
According to her, she became pregnant while dating her husband, prompting them to get married before her pregnancy became visibly noticeable.
She disclosed that the pregnancy has been particularly challenging, leaving her constantly fatigued and dealing with symptoms such as persistent vomiting, sensitivity to smells and excessive salivation.
The expectant mother said she has also experienced changes in her appearance and daily routine, adding that she sometimes struggles to take care of herself because of exhaustion.
Chiamaka revealed that her husband, who previously enjoyed kissing her during their courtship, has not kissed her since their marriage. She said he often turns his face away whenever she attempts to kiss him during intimate moments.
She expressed worry that her pregnancy symptoms, particularly the excessive salivation, may have caused the change in her husband’s attitude.
The young woman said she confronted her husband about the issue, but he simply told her he was not in the mood for kissing.
Her post has since generated mixed reactions online, with many social media users offering advice and sharing their views on how pregnancy-related changes can affect intimacy and relationships.
