Ogun APC Caucus endorses Senator Adeola as consensus guber candidate

The All Progressives Congress has endorsed Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as its consensus governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Ogun State.

The announcement was made by Governor Dapo Abiodun during a stakeholders and strategic caucus meeting of the party, at which Adeola was unanimously endorsed by party leaders.

Abiodun expressed confidence in the senator’s capacity to succeed him, saying Adeola would build on the progress already made in the state.

“He will build upon the work we have done, and I have no doubt about his capacity to take Ogun State to greater heights,” the governor said.

Responding to the endorsement, Senator Adeola thanked the stakeholders for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to justify their trust.
