PHOTOS: 2Baba weds Natasha Osawaru

Veteran Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has traditionally tied the knot with a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, Natasha Osawaru.

2Baba tied the knot with the lawmaker in a private ceremony.

Pictures from the event were shared on X on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

2Baba had, in February 2025, proposed to Osawaru.

The singer and the lawmaker were seen in a viral video on X dancing together to the admiration of some of their friends.

2Baba describes marriage to Annie Idibia as ‘living in bondage’

The musician later proceeded to present Osawaru with a ring, after which they were locked in a long embrace.

This came after 2Baba publicly confirmed his romantic relationship with the lawmaker.

The development sparked suggestions that the lawmaker might have contributed to the singer’s separation from his wife, Annie Idibia.

He announced his separation from Annie via a statement shared on his Instagram account on Sunday, January 26.

Speaking in a video shared on Instagram on February 11, the Afrobeat legend declared his readiness to marry Natasha, adding that the lawmaker has nothing to do with his separation from Annie.
