Relief as notorious Kaduna thug Dan Damisa dies

Residents of Tudun Wada in Kaduna State are expressing mixed feelings following the death of a notorious thug, Habu Dan Damisa, on Wednesday.

Dan Damisa, widely feared for his violent lifestyle and alleged involvement in several killings, was both dreaded and controversial within the community.

While some residents welcomed the news of his death as a relief from years of torment, others expressed sympathy, viewing it as a reminder of the fragility of life.

“He was accused of terrorising the community, but as Muslims, all we can say is, may Allah forgive the dead and guide the living,” a resident said.

Dan Damisa’s demise has left the Tudun Wada community torn between grief and quiet celebration.
