Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), President Bola Tinubu’s political support organisation, has appointed a raft of directors to strengthen its structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, who serves as Director-General and National Co-ordinator of the RHA, approved the appointments, saying they were designed to “strengthen the structure and improve the operational effectiveness” of the organisation.
According to a statement by Tunde Rahman, Director of RHA’s media and publicity team, Kaduna Governor Uba Sani has been named Deputy Director-General, with Gombe Governor Mohammed Yahaya as Secretary and former lawmaker James Faleke as Deputy Secretary.
Among the newly appointed directors, Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, Director-General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, will head the Youth Directorate, while former Peoples Democratic Party spokesman Chief Olisa Metuh takes charge of Organisation and Mobilisation. Rahman himself is to serve as Director of Media and Publicity, with former Sports Minister Sunday Dare overseeing Digital and New Media.
Other directors include Mele Geidam (Finance), Muiz Banire (Monitoring, Compliance and Legal), Bisoye Coker-Odusote (Technology and Data), Abubakar Abubakar (Support Groups), Ibrahim Garba (Intelligence), Senator Sani Musa (Special Duties), and Simon Karu (Planning).
Also named were Dr Halima Zakari (Welfare), Dr Nnamdi Mbaeri (Administration), Bilikisu Muhammed Kaika (Women Affairs), Abike Dabiri-Erewa (Diaspora), and Hadiza Bala Usman (Research and Innovation).
The RHA’s operational structure encompasses six zonal coordinators, 37 state coordinators and 774 local government coordinators.
Established in November 2025, the RHA was set up as a platform to promote the programmes, policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration across the country’s 36 states.
