Salernitana winger, Franck Ribery, has suffered a minor head injury after he was involved in a car crash.
The former Bayern Munich player has since been sidelined for a few days as a precaution.
Ribery was said to have been involved in the accident in the early hours of Sunday after his car crashed into a traffic light in the town of Laura di Capaccio Paestum in the province of Salerno, Italy.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Ribery, who wasn’t driving the vehicle, was rushed to the hospital before he was given the green light to return home.
Ribery joined Salernitana last summer after being released by Fiorentina.
Salernitana are currently bottom of Serie A with just 15 points after 25 games played.
