Barely 24 hours after the defection of Tangaza Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Salihu Bashar Kalanjine, the Sokoto State Commissioner for Security and Careers Matters, Rtd. Col. Garba Moyi Isa, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Moyi cited the present administration’s lack of transference and accountability to govern efficiently as the reason for dumping the party.
He added that with the quality leadership of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, he can’t afford to leave the senator alone to undertake the affairs of the Sokoto APC’s supporters.
The commissioner also announced his resignation of his membership of the state Executive Council.
