Uba Sani dedicates best gov award to Kaduna people

Governor Uba Sani has dedicated his recent recognition as Nigeria’s Best Performing Governor to the people of Kaduna State, saying the honour will further inspire him to serve with greater dedication and selflessness.

The award, presented by Democracy Heroes Award Africa, was received on his behalf by the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Abubakar Buba, during a ceremony held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

Hon. Buba described the award as a well-deserved acknowledgment of Governor Sani’s remarkable achievements in infrastructure and governance.

“Within 30 months in office, Governor Uba Sani has initiated 88 major projects covering 785 kilometers across the state, with 45 of them already completed. This level of performance is unprecedented in Kaduna’s history,” the Commissioner stated.

He further noted that the governor’s development drive is complemented by a governance style anchored on inclusion, even development, and transparency.

Commending Democracy Heroes Award Africa for its thorough selection process, Buba said the recognition validates the governor’s commitment to improving lives across Kaduna.

According to him, Governor Sani dedicated the award to the people of Kaduna State for entrusting him with the mandate to serve, adding that their support made the achievements possible.
