The Nyesom Wike-led National Caretaker Committee of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday attended the regular quarterly meeting of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Those at the meeting were the National Chairman of the PDP Caretaker Committee, Abdulrahman Mohammed, and the Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu.
Though no official comment from INEC on the development, it comes a few days after a judgement of a Federal High Court in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, rejected the Tanimu Turaki-led leadership of the party.

While the Mohammed-led NWC had welcome the judgement, the Turaki-led NWC rejected and appealed the court’s verdict.
A check on INEC website shows that Umar Damagun is still listed as National Chairman and Anyanwu as National Secretary of the PDP.
