The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 23 suspected internet fraudsters in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The suspected internet fraudsters were arrested at Apata, Jericho, and Ire Akari Estate areas of Ibadan.
The arrest of the suspects was disclosed via a statement issued by the EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, on Friday.
Uwujaren said the suspects were arrested following intelligence on their alleged computer fraud-related activities.

He noted that 16 of the suspects were indicted by forensic analysis carried out on their devices, adding that incriminating documents were recovered from them.
The EFCC spokesperson stated that seven other suspects were still under investigation.
Uwujaren disclosed that seven exotic cars, mobile phones, and laptops were also recovered from the suspects.
He added that the arrested suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations were concluded.
