Enyimba’s Atule confident ahead of season opener against Barau FC

Enyimba International forward, Joseph Atule, has expressed confidence that the Aba-based giants are ready to launch a strong title charge as the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season kicks off.

Speaking to journalists in Aba on Friday before the team’s departure to Kano, Atule said the nine-time champions are determined to start the campaign on a winning note when they face newly promoted Barau FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.

“We are going for maximum points, not just in Kano but in every match this season,” the winger declared. “Both the new and old players have worked hard together, and we are fully prepared to give our fans something to be proud of.”

Atule added that the chemistry developed during Enyimba’s preseason will be crucial in their quest to reclaim glory.

“The hunger in the camp is high, and that alone is enough motivation to restore Enyimba’s winning tradition. This season is about glory—nothing less,” he assured.
