Mr Latin bags bachelor’s degree from NOUN

Nollywood actor Bolaji Amusan, fondly called Mr Latin in the Yoruba film industry, has graduated from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), earning a Bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution.

The 59-year-old actor shared the milestone on Instagram on Saturday, April 18, 2026, posting a photo of himself in a convocation gown to celebrate the achievement.

“Today, I am proud to be conferred with a BSc in Peace and Conflict Resolution. Done and dusted! To God be the glory,” he wrote.

Kwara schools to reopen Monday

Mr Latin’s latest academic accomplishment comes about a year after he received an honorary doctorate in Leadership and Humanities from the American University of Peace and Governance.

Beyond his acting career, Mr Latin has also played a key leadership role in the entertainment industry. He has served as president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) since 2018.
