The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, on Saturday, flagged off the party’s presidential campaign in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
The rally was initially slated for October 20 but was postponed over flooding incidents in the country.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle to share pictures of the event on Saturday, Obi wrote: “I thank the LP and OBIdient family in Nasarawa for their show of love and solidarity in Lafia. The flag off was simply awesome.”
Others present at the rally were the LP’s vice-presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, and the party’s National Chairman, Julius Abure, among others.
