Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has ordered a thorough investigation into the alleged misconduct by an official of the Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority (KASTLEA).
This was contained in a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Muhammad Shehu, on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
The KASTLEA official was seen in a viral video diverting money meant for government coffers, using a Point of Sale (PoS) machine.

“The Kaduna State Government reiterates its zero-tolerance for corrupt practices in its Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and other state-owned institutions,” Shehu stated.
He said the administration remained committed to protecting its citizens against fraudulent actions by “a few bad eggs”.
The governor’s CPS also called on the residents of Kaduna State to be encouraged and report any infractions to the appropriate authorities, noting that any official found guilty after thorough investigations would face the full wrath of the law.
